Milk & Beverage Packaging

 

A range of HDPE clean resin and compounds with organoleptic properties is available to meet each type of milk (fresh, heat or UHT sterilized) and different types of blow molding techniques (wheel or shuttle types).

 

The ELTEX ® compounds can be readily used in 3-layered or 6-layered (with EVOH) bottles to provide light and oxygen barrier. With the combination of rigidity/impact strength, thinner bottles are made possible to withstand drop test and fast production speed for overall cost effectiveness.

 

For long-life milk, a 3-layered HDPE bottle (white/black/white) is needed to cut off light, while infant long-life milk, liquids for medical nutrition, and certain beverages, a HDPE/EVOH 6-layered packaging is needed to achieve light and oxygen barrier.
